Car Check In Begins at 8:30 am
Races Begin at 9:30 am
All Cars Must Be Checked In & Weighed Prior to Races Beginning

Rules:
- Width (between wheels): 1 3/4" - (If your wheel base measurement is smaller, your car will not work on the track.)
- Length: 7" or Less
- Height: 5 1/2" or Less
- Weight: Less than 5 Ounces
- Bottom Clearance between Car & Track: 3/8"
Rules:
- All four wheels and axles must be used on the car.
- Only official Cub Scout Grand Prix Pinewood Derby wheels and axles are permitted.
- Wheel bearings, washers, and bushings are prohibited.
- The car shall not ride on springs or suspension systems.
- Only dry lubricant is permitted.
- The car must be free-wheeling, with no starting devices.
- Details, such as, steering wheels and drivers are permissible as long as these details do not exceed the car specification measurements.
- Cars will be inspected and weighed before the race during check in time.
- If at registration a car does not pass inspection, the owner will be informed of the reason for failure and will be given time within the official check in time period to make adjustments.
- After final approval, cars will not be re-inspected unless the car is damaged in handling or during racing.
- All cars will be held by the race committee once checked in until after all racing heats are completed.
